According to Ken-the car somehow down shifted on its on at the wrong time. According to everyone standing there-and anyone that knows the course (and the vid backs it up) He cut a turn in the media/spectator area and hit a rock —that was in the pace notes AND painted orange— sending it over. It smashed the oil cooler shooting oil on the exhaust causing the fire. He never hit the fire bottles getting out of the car, you can hear the safety people at the end of the clip asking where the fire ext. were.
